I’m so glad you were able to bring your daughter home to teach her and I wish you many wonderful moments spent together enjoying her childhood!

I’m lucky in that regard because two of our kids are older teens and are doing well socially so I don’t usually get asked about socialization and when I do, meeting my kids usually puts that to rest. Also, our area has a lot of homeschoolers so my kids get opportunities almost every day to be with other kids. Our community offers homeschool swimming, gymnastics, art classes, ski lessons, and many field trips. If anything, I get comments from people who say how friendly and well-adjusted our kids seem (now if only they were that well behaved when we were at home!).

I dont have kids yet but I have always thought about home schooling, I went to public school and home schooled kids had a rep of being weird and socially awkward. Especially in college, how do you respond to accusations that home school kids don’t develop socially?
