But just because it doesn’t come naturally to me doesn’t mean I’ve given up trying. I am always on the lookout for ideas that I can implement in our home to make things run more smoothly.

Other organization ideas:
Hang a tension rod under the kitchen or bathroom sink to hang cleaning bottles on.
Paint glass jars with chalkboard paint and then label them with chalk to hold anything from pens and craft supplies to pantry items to bathroom supplies.
Keep all of your kids’ socks in a bin by the door so that when you are needing to get out the door, they can quickly grab a pair of socks. We also found that it cut back on fighting over whose socks are whose to just have a communal sock bin.
Speaking of socks, wash socks in a laundry bag so that you never have to wonder where the missing ones went!
And if you are still missing socks, check out our list of things to do with all those single socks.
Keep jewelry in ice cube trays so that things don’t get tangled.
Paint the head of keys with nail polish so that you know which one is which.
