I am so sorry you have been going through all that. I have a friend whose daughter has pandas and I know how hard it can be to deal with. I think you are an amazing mom. My grandson is on the autism spectrum and I know how hard it is for his mama. You and your family will be in my prayers and my heart.

I thoroughly understand as I have a daughter with Down syndrome with an immune deficiency, hypothyroid and asthma who was in Distance Learning to protect her from Covid 19 and my job made me prove that getting Covid 19 would be severe for her. The self-care is vital yet when situations come one after another, a quiet moment is the last thought on the list. Know that there are others standing with you!

I have found in my most difficult days that I just can not bear no more, I have to leave it all at Jesus’ feet. I visualize myself leaving all troubles at his feet and fully trusting in Him. And for the people that don’t understand this, I ask them to try it.
Everything may not go as I would like, but I trust in Him to give me the courage and strength to carry on. I now know that the troubles I carry may help someone else who is going through difficult times, even if I never see or hear of my experiences in life helping just that one person. And perhaps, just maybe, our experiences will bring someone closer to the Lord or bring a nonbeliever to a believer of faith in the Lord. Because of this, I will thank God for all the good and the bad that is brought to me in my life. He carried the cross for us. He wants us to come to Him in all things. I find myself talking with God all day long, because He is the only one who will fully understands everything I am feeling and going through on any given day. And on this note, I am remembering, next week is Easter…..so Happy Easter!!! My prayers are with you.

The only special needs I had to cope with were two ADD kids while having ADD myself. Absolutely nothing compared with what you cope with so terrifically. Your kids are so lucky to have you! I’m hoping you get some R&R very soon and thank you for being there for so many other parents.
